• You can use a digital coaxial to RCA adapter to connect to your old receiver as the Sony has a digital coaxial jack.

• You can check the back of your stereo, see if there is a digital connect. You can use red and white audio cables, just plug the same color in player and stereo. Your stereo may not have a digital plug in. Depending on how old it is
