“Rephrasing the Disney+ question - will this device allow me to ADD/STORE streaming Apps like Disney+ or Amazon Prime to the menu items already included (I.e. Netflix, Hulu) and stream movies/shows from these Apps thru the device?”

I have to say, my one disappointment with this BluRay player was the limitation on the streaming apps that were preloaded and the apps that I could download. Some apps are proprietary, so I couldn't load DishAnywhere. I think there severe limitations as to what is available.

Please try again later.Amazon prime was already on there but as far as adding Disney plus no , doesn't always run movies straight through have had 2 4k movies freeze up like a couple people said in reviews ,about 3 quarters way threw , had to pull disk out reinsert go back on chapter and was able to finish movie , didn't really bother me but can be annoying , other 4 k movies ran right to end , all brand new disks
