• I should think it would. I bought a 3rd-party cable for the NW-A45 and it lists a bunch of other Sony players on the package ("NWZ A, S, E and X series"), so I think the old cable will work fine.

• I don't know honestly although it does appear to look as the usb that comes with with walk man. I have to mention that I seem to remember reading customer reviews on this site and Amazon that the usb cable that is included is the only one that will fit.
