That is what they are supposed to do, but only works about half of the time for me. Usually I have to take them out, put them back in, out, back in, then out. Then go to the completely separate app that has to also be connected to your headphones (a lot of times the app is connected to the headphones but for whatever reason is not connected to the phone.) And some times only 1 ear bud will pair and the other apparently does not connect. Terrible connections all around.
