• Yes, depending upon the size of your house. I loose connectivity if there are more two walls between the buds and my phone.

• Hi Emsteve, Thanks for for inquiring about the WF-1000XM3. The music files cannot be installed or transferred on the unit as they don't have internal storage. You need to connect these earbud headphones to your smartphone via Bluetooth connection and listen to your music library. You may also use Internet service from your smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc. to listen to music streaming services. Regards, Jess
