The question was about overall initial availability - not availability at any particular store. They were supposed to be available nationwide already so my best guess is that there was a pretty high volume of pre orders that is leading to a reduction in brick and mortar inventory at release. Taking the time to criticize the question, as the first answer did - is mean spirited and off-putting. Be nicer.
