“I was curious on the noise canceling features. I have tried both the Apple 2nd gen and Pros along with Samsung and when I am on the phone with someone; they complain about my background noises being very noisy; louder than my voice which is irritating.”

The noise canceling feature cancels ambient noise in your ear. It has no effect on the ambient noise that the microphone picks up while on the phone. My experience with these is very similar in that my parents found the sound of the windchimes on my porch to be very loud while on the phone with them.
