Will these earbuds last longer than 8 hours on a single charge if I turn off noise cancelling and other features? null

I'm a dork so I tried this just for you. The answer is... I kept getting very phone calls and couldn't resist youtube and Tidal so I lost ONE of the ear buds just before 8 hours and charged it for 5 minutes and got another 55 minutes out of it. Close though. 
 
I bet if I had set the app how you mentioned then uninstalled the app and then had volume at about half then it would have made it a lot longer.

Yes they will last 8 hour with sound cancelling on. They just to have a full charge first

Yes, you will get approximately up to 8 hours of battery life when either noise canceling or ambient sound mode is turned off while in AAC and SBC codec, and up to 12 hours if both are turned off while also in AAC and SBC codec. Usage hours may be different depending on the settings for the headset functions and usage conditions.
