“Does anyone have any experience wearing these for five+ hours? Do they hurt your ears? I bought a cheap pair from Amazon and they are killing my ears. I like the concept of earbuds but I am unsure if they will all cause discomfort, or just the ones I have”

I work with these on for 8-12 hours and generally speaking with no pain. Your ears may vary so experiment with the different ear tip sizes to find out what works or not. You can also try different brands of ear tips to see if perhaps the sizing they use is different to Sony's. I usually recommend Comply Foam tips.

Please try again later.I use them sometime when I pull all nighters and they will last like 8 to 9 hours with the sound cancelling on, They do start to hurt if you are not using the correct tips after like 2 hours and with the correct tips they will start hurting after like 3 to 3 and half. It is common issue with most earbud, if you aren't looking for just sound cancelling but looking for sound quality look at open-ear buds. They are super comfortable and provide amazing sound quality
