These have a small round input jack for a wire. You can connect to another device's output jack.

It all depends, if it is built into the headphones or not. I have not had one. However I have worked with professional audio equipment. Being able to hear the audio or recording without the noise canceling effect makes it more "real" as if you're there. Cancelling through the PC or Apple should be possible using the various filters built into the audio software. Takes a little time for setup, but it can be well worth it.
