The WHCH710N headphones have two ways of connecting, first is by using A2DP Bluetooth profile which will let you connect wirelessly to your compatible A2DP devices or by wired using the Headphone Cable jack. The headphones will work if the TV model that you wish to connect the headphones supports these connection. For your inquiry regarding if you can hear sound from the headphones and TV at the same time, please refer to your TV manufacturer to check if the feature is available on the TV. Regards, Kris
