• to be honest with you I am not pretty sure if you can for my phone that I am using this headphone with is not an XR but probably you can because I am even using this headphone to listen news or movies from my tv and music from my Denon AVR. And also when you are going to download the Sony connect app you'll notice that you'll be given two choices IO's or Android.
