• I don't see why not. you would just plug the charging base into your phone's headphone jack and that will transmit the sound to the headphones. but since these headphone have horrible sound, you're better off with your phone speakers.

• Yes, but it would be impractical if you are on the go. If you are leaving the phone on a tabletop, then sure, because the transmitter is going to be bigger than your phone and the transmitter needs to be powered next to an outlet.
