The answer is YES...I can turn the tv volume to any level, including all the way down. The headphones have their own separate volume control. I also am hard of hearing...This is the reason I bought these... Now i can watch my movies or whatever at the volume I want...When you turn down the volume on the TV it does NOT effect the headphones. However... Using the mute button will mute both. So if the phone rings or if someone is banging at the door you can still quickly shut the volume off and back on when needed by the remote. They were kind of expensive but they are worth it...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I use both the T.V. volume and headset volume at the same time. You connect the audio for the headphones in the back of the T.V. You can adjust the headset volume independently of the T.V. volume.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In short. YES, you can set the headphones to what ever volume level you choose, while the TV is set to what ever level your wife chooses. That's one of the beauties of this product. I think you will love this product. I've had mine for a couple months now and I am more than pleased with them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. When my client uses them I still hear the tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there, While some TVs have an audio output that can be used to connect headphones, in most cases, this connection will disable the TV speakers. If the TV has a sound setting to let the TV speaker and the connected headphone output sound at the same time then it would be possible.
