I also gave an LG i hooked up to the regular headphone plug behind tv, doesn't say headphones but has same plug as if you were going to plug in regular head phones, than when everything is hooked up, go to settings or apps depending on your tv, than go to audio than change from tv speakers to headphones, than u have to set the volume on your headphones on high, than you control volume by adjusting volume on tv with control and don't touch volume on headphone anymore, i also have a samsung, which works different with them, i also plug in to same jack on tv, but on this set, i can lower volume on tv, and adjust only on headphones, i guess all tv's work a little different, hope this helps, also on the LG, the headphone will turn on only when u select headphones at settings...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found the solution at Radio Shack...They make an inline headphone extension with a volume control...I plugged this into the speaker output and then plugged the transmitter line in to that...It enabled me to lower the volume going into the transmitter and eliminated the hum...The headphone sound is now clear and crisp, although there seems to be some lag time between the sound and the TV picture....Might be a good idea to supply this volume control with the headphones so others won't run into the same problem...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know what you have for tv service (cable, satalite, dvd, ect.) but here i have a cable box. I connected mine directly into the cable audio out connection on the cable box .I did need to buy a splitter for the right and left side audio out connection.so the tv would still use the internal speakers if needed. If you use the hdmi out then you don't need to use the splitter just plug into the audio out on your cable, satalite box.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Please try using a different device to test the headphones, for instance if you have a cable box connect the audio cords directly to the audio in of the headphones from that unit instead . Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can try changing the channel on the base station, but if that doesn't work you'll probably need to return them and get something that sends/receives in the 2.4ghz range. The 900mhz range this model uses is incredibly crowded and susceptible to interference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.by changing the TV channel
