• I tried connecting to my laptop using the mini jack. Works great but unfortunately the light keeps blinking.

• Hi Susie, You can't turn off the Bluetooth function of this speaker. When an audio cable is used with the speaker, the source device switches to the one connected by the cable automatically, even if you are listening to music via Bluetooth connection. -Anthony
