Mine will NOT shut off if connected via bluetooth. Bluetooth needs to be shut off so this defeats the 15 min shut off feature. But I found an app called autobluetooth that enables you to set a timer or set the time to shut off bluetooth and/or wifi so it does work if you go through this trouble with the app.
