Hey I saw these would work for a PS4 but while I am using these will I be able to hear foot steps... say If I was playing battlefield null

The only way I was able to use with the ps4 was plugging into the controller. But, the sound did not cancel from the television speakers.

From my experience they are really good for listening to gameplay but I have not been able to use them as a mic.

You could try to turn off the noise reduction on the app or on the headphones so you can hear food steps or other noise around you.

Any headphones will let you. If you want direction tuned audio like in the Sony pulse, gold or Platinum headphones then no. The audio will be equally noticeable in both ears.

I tried to pair them with my PS4 about a month ago and it said it was not compatible. If you were somehow able to get them to work I imagine you could hear the foot steps pretty well. The highs are pretty good on the ear buds.
