Yes now if the mp3 player does not have blue tooth then you will have to use the AUX port (head phone jack) only.

And the headphone do have cable for non-bluetooth device. But honestly the sellman in the store tell me that the extra bass would function when the cable is on. So, mark that word. If you expect to use extrabass, find a device with bluetooth. Otherwise, you migh like to choose other headphone.
