While the Sony SRS-XB700 is operating on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, it is possible for the sound to become low if the battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction. If the sound becomes low during use, it is recommended that you adhere to the following procedure: Turn off the speaker and sufficiently charge the built-in battery to restore the device's optimal performance.
