Does On-Ear mean that it can be wireless OR wired? null

As long as there is a standard 3.5mm headphone jack ... these are wired only - not wireless.

It's irrelevant, on-ear or over-ear or in-ear can be either wireless or wired depending on the model you buy.

neither one nor the other, on-ear means that they will be placed above the ear, not inside the ear like earbuds.

Not sure. These were purchased for a family member. From what I remeber they are wired. Hope this helps
