• The rule of thumb is that the charger will only pull what is needed for the products need. If you have a charger that is equipped to charge higher usage items it will still charge lower level items with the proper connections. If you're using something less then the standard or just low and slow then it'll take a lot longer to charge from empty.

• Yes, in most cases a 30 watt charger is totally fine.
