The manufacturer claims they are IPX5, so you can't submerge them in water, but they shouldn't be damaged if you get rained on or sweat on them. For more info, look up the definition of IPX5.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They are as per the specs. For a real world answer I just used them in the gym and got decently sweaty. Lifting and then a quick mile at 6.5mph and they still stayed in and didn't slip out. I love these things.
