Can you use this cover with the keyboard null

You can use any Bluetooth keyboard with it opened on a table... HOWEVER- you can’t store the keyboard in the case, The cover is flush with the tablet with no room for a keyboard

No, there is no opening for the contacts on apple keyboard. I hoped there would be.
