I've had his case for three generations, it protects the phone and acreen from normal drops form your hand or lap. I wouldn't recommend testing it from a few stories up. As long as surface is flat you should be ok. Dropping it on rocky surface is risky because it could still crack the screen.

My phone hasn't broken but the glass screen protector broke the first day so I don't fully trust this case as much as I did my otter box defender.

I have dropped my phone and simce it has a bit of an edge it didnt break. As with any device depends on what angle it falls. Mine actually bounced then fell flat on concrete from about 4 ft. Overall pretty good

I have accidentally dropped my Iphone 6S plus on tile floor and it hasn't cracked. I do have a tempered glass protector on it also. I feel that it does it's job!
