• Yes, they have the white and black plastic ridges. I have both the black and gray & the white and black. I bought both because I could not make up my mind on which one to buy.

• Yes, look at Amazon! I found buying mildly used products that still have the warranty is More cost effective and same result. Although we all like opening packages when buying new , clearance and open box models Best Buy has are a better deal with the same results!
