That is correct, the iphone 13 camera lens are much bigger than iPhone 12 camera lens. Therefore the iPhone 12 case can't fit a iPhone 13.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A case that fits well on an iPhone 12 Pro Max will definitely NOT fit an iPhone 13 Pro Max for the reason stated. The geometry of the cameras between the phones is different, the 13 Pro Max being larger. A “12” case will fit the “13” on the edges but bulges where the cameras protrude from the back. This is from personal experience. Hope this helps.
