“keyboard Never having seen this product before, does it cover the keyboard? I would assume not but wouldn't that be great? I ruined my last PC laptop by falling asleep while it was on my lap and the sticky juice drink I was holding tipped just enough to spill on the keyboard. Made a crying , screeching sound and has never worked since (admittedly I never even tried restarting it). Not that great a loss as I hated that laptop. I had already ordered and just received my mac book just a few days before but hadn't transferred my pics and other data so those I guess are toast :(”

• Case does not cover the keyboard. I would not recommend this case mine was cracked and the corner is broken off within three weeks

• The one I purchased did not cover the key board. You can buy skin protectors for the keyboard

• No. It only covers the outside of the laptop. You snap it on while it's closed.

• No it doesn't cover the keyboard. It does come with 2 separate covers. One covers the top and the other covers the bottom and both are on the outside of the laptop. You may want to see If the Geek Squad can transfer your files and photos still from the old laptop.

• It doesn't cover the keyboard but they sell a keyboard cover that might help. It is just a rubber mat that basically lies over the keys.
