A:AnswerCame back to this after I swung for it with the sale. I have an Air 4th Gen. This fits okay and I really think it’s up to you if you want the added protection on all sides. I do have an Apple folio for my Air with the magnetic back but all the edges are exposed and I’m afraid of dropping it. You can see where this case is just a little bit off in certain places. But it fits well and it could just be that it’s a little stretched, the molded casing around the edges. One more important issue is it appears that the Apple Pencil latches on with the magnetic snap BUT the automatic bubble where it shows charge percentage on contact does not show up unless I press that side and the pencil up against that edge. Once I did that then the ‘97% charge’ pencil notification popped up at the top of the screen. It might not be snug enough to ensure that it is charging. For reference I do have the paperlike protector on the screen and it fits well.
