“will this work with a pull out faucet ? i see it may not adapt to it. If it doesn't , can I split into my permanent water supply or is it designed for temporary hook up only ? ?”

It appears that it will not work with most pull out handles due to incompatible size adapter. You can connect directly to fresh water line through plumbing work arounds, and can buy a replacement dishwasher line from most plumbing aisles, $10
