Haven't measured it, but the settings are for 208, 180, and 140 deg. F. All of those can cause burns. And after the heating has just finished the water is boiling (near 212F/100C) so until it drops to the set temperature it can cause serious burns. Handle with appropriate care. The water isn't pumped out fast enough to splash much, though. The dry boil feature is protective - so you don't overcook the machine or cause a fire with no water in it.
