• You do not need a phone with this device; the terminal works independently via WiFi.

• Hey Dave- You have the option to use cellular date or wifi to operation your reader and Point of Sale. Whichever you use has to have a strong 4G connection or the payments won't process. There is an option to take payments in Offline Mode. Check out this Support Article for more information: https://squ.re/OfflineMode
