• There is not a built in speaker. You can use ear buds, head phones or a speaker system to listen to the music. I hook it up to some pretty good computer speakers and blast music from my front porch or back deck when weeding or enjoying a fire in my pit. The player works good. I would recommend. Hope this helps!
