“I have an 8 " ring light set up (tripod, etc.) and would like to replace the 8" ring light with a larger ring light without buying a new tripod. Is this possible? thank you!”

If your 8" light is also Sunpak, then maybe. The light attachment isn't a standard thread bolt size or anything like that.
