Between the tripod and the phone adaptor, there's a lot of flexibility here. The tripod upper "bulb" will unscrew from the tripod base; from there you can attach the phone shoe and face your phone and light downward.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. The camera mounts have a screw in the back for forward shots, AND a screw on the BASE. Remount one holder using the base screw and the camera is now pointing 90 degrees away from the flat bracket, then the camera can be pointed downward to the table. Images on the box show the phone mounts screwed in from the back. If you are not using the light, you could also use the extra ball head to adjust the angle.
