Hi there! In Florida, the statewide law says that riders must be a minimum of 16 years of age, but a drivers license is not required. The MAXX is limited to operation in bike lanes and must follow road rules that pertain to bikes. Miami requires riders to be a minimum of 18 years of age, does not allow you to ride over 15mph in bike lanes and 7mph on sidewalks. For additional regulations, it is recommended you check with the DMV at your local jurisdiction for additional information or requirements.
