The number of recordings and airings you can run at the same time, is equal to the number of tuners you have. In this case, a 2-tuner model will allow you to record two shows at the same time. However, you would not be able to watch a sperate airing until one of the recordings have finished or you cancel one of these recordings. We have a 4-tuner model that would allow you to watch/record 4 airings at the same time. As for dish fiber, you won't be able to pull in broadcast TV with such. You'd need an over-the-air TV antenna. They are, however, affordable. One of our packages induces a 35 mile range indoor model but it may behoove you to research and see what TV antenna would best suit your purposes You'll also need a strong internet connection, an ethernet or a wireless network for your Tablo to connect to. Such is for setup and our FAST streaming channels.
