The Tablo requires an OTA antenna. The limiting factor will be your antenna reception. You will be able to watch/record whatever channels you can receive with your antenna. If channels have poor antenna reception, the Tablo will not be able to receive those channels. I haven't noticed the Tablo hurting or helping the reception.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Tablo depends on an antenna connected to it to feed in OTA signal from stations you can receive. I researched and found best antenna for my location. Tablo was added to give dvr recording features.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Tablo is a tuner. It's going to depend on the antenna that you use to receive the local channel signal. It will then pass that signal on thru your Wi-Fi network in the home. The antenna is the real key piece.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should. You might need to spend a bit extra on a powerful, long range antenna though.
