A mobile app (phone or tablet) is required for 4th Generation Tablo set up. However, borrowing a friend or family member's may work. After setup, you should be able to manage most of your Tablo's settings from your Samsung TV.
A:AnswerI don't thing there's a way to watch a show and look a the guide at the same time on a screen. That said, you could be watching a show on the tv and pull Tablo up on your smart phone and navigate to the guide there.
