3 Zippered compartments. The largest compartment has 3 sections. Two padded sections to store laptops or tablets and a 3rd large section to store large items. The 2nd largest compartment has 2 sections. A small section to store pens/pencils and smaller accessories and a larger section suitable for storing things as large as a couple of medium sized textbooks. The smallest compartment is large enough for multiple powerpacks, chargers, mice or other accessories you may use. There are 2 drink/tumbler web compartments on either side of the backpack with an elastic band at the top to assist in holding the items.
