• No it does not! I am returning mine! Targus is suppose to be releasing one with the sleep feature early this year.

• Yes the iPad turns on when I open the case and turns off when I close it which saves battery on it.

• Neither, it is just a protective case. The volume buttons though are a bit tough to push through the case, but I normally don't use them much.
