I couldn't tell from the questions if a 17" would fit this case, will it? null

Most likely not, as it's only really able to fit 15 inch laptops. My 15.6 in can fit in well, but I couldn't see anything larger fitting in the bag.

I bought one of these sleeves for a 15.6" Acer Nitro and it did not fit inside all the way. 
Note: It may have, but I would have had to put soo much stress on the zipper at the first corner I ran into, that I was afraid I was going to break it.

Don't trust what the salesman tells you either like I did (I told him I have a 15.6" Acer Nitro (that I bought at that very store) and will this sleeve work and he told me it would.

I would have returned it but I was going out of state on vacation the next day for over two weeks over the Holidays, so by the time I returned, their return policy had already lapsed, so now I'm stuck with a sleeve that's more of a padded bag than anything else as I can't zip it up.

If you are saying you have a 17"er, than this sleeve is no where near big enough. Beware !

It measures 15.5 inches by 11 inches, so I don't think it would work.

I don't think it would fit I Just got a 15.6" and it fits nice and snug. I think youll be squeezing a 17" in this bag
