I can't remember what it says on the outside of the box but I would go to your local Best Buy and call to make sure. Maybe it says in the info of this item?

Not sure what you mean on cellular connections. It does have openings to hook up extras

Yes it fits, my only draw back of this case is. It's hard to power the iPad Air 2 off. While it's in the case.

This cover is specific for the iPad Pro, however, there is an equivalent cover for the iPad 2, I also had one myself in the past and can also recommend it.
