Yes it does. When you close it up it will automatically turns it off not completely turn off but turn off as done use it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No! I spoke to Targus in July 2024, and they told me unequivocally that none of the 6 cases like the Versa Vue have the automatic sleep function. She said that maybe in the future they may include it. I was calling them because my case had this issue and others, and a Targus representative had told me to call the customer service dept, and see what they could do. Which was nothing, she kept repeating that there was nothing they could do, and she was sorry!

I don't know why there's been various reports of this not working or only partially working (maybe the fact that I waited nearly a year after it's release to buy iPad and case allowed Targus to get the bugs out of their design?).
