Is this right for my iPad Air 1 ?? i have iPad Air 1, does the same case for iPad Air 2 fit my air 1??

No because iPad Air 2 is thinner and the rear camera is positioned differently.

Yes, I am using this case with my iPad Air 1 and it has the hole in the proper place for the camera on the reverse side of the iPad. that's the thing you have to be careful about when buying cases -- the camera location on the back of the iPad Air 2 is in a slightly different location, so not all cases made for the iPad Air 2 will work with an iPad Air 1. This Targus VersaVu Classic Plus Case does work perfectly with my iPad Air 1. Hope this info helps!

Not Ideally. The Air 2 is thinner and they moved a microphone from the upper middle rear on the Air 1 to a spot next to the camera on the Air 2.

they have them for air 1 and air 2 you have to purchase the one for pad you have either 1 or 2.

The IPad Air 1 does not fit this case as the button layout is different.

I bought this product by looking for the product to fit the iPad Air 2 I have. Otterbox Defender does have this for IPad Air . Which is for the first one, so look for that.. iPad Air 1 looks a little different so make sure it is to fit for the one you have. You have IPad Air 1 look for the word IPad Air on the Otterbox Defender box.
