“I'm trying to decide between the 43 inch 5 series and the 50 inch 5 series. How far away do you have to sit for optimal viewing of the 50 inch? It is for a bedroom.”

Each person has their own preference. For a question like this we would need to consider the space available for a TV and the functionality of that space. Do you have space to place an entertainment stand that will hold the size TV you want? Will you be 7 to 11 feet away from the screen and will be able to look straight at the TV not viewing from the side? If you have a space that meets the viewing requirement but not the size requirement of the TV go lower in TV size. Following these rules makes most people happy with the viewing experience.
