Will the optical out and headphone out work at the same time? Looking for a tv for my dad that can do both without having to unplug anything null

Connected to my new TCL TV', I have both a headset and sound bar. The sound bar can use a HDMI ARC? cable (which Im utilizing) or optical connection and.optical only for the headset. On my large downstairs TV, I bought an optical splitter (through Amazon) as both the headphones and sound bar used optical and the TV had only one optical port. Works just fine.

If using the headphone jack, it will automatically mute the TV speakers and all other audio output. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
