“Will the optical out and headphone out work at the same time? Looking for a tv for my dad that can do both without having to unplug anything”

• Connected to my new TCL TV', I have both a headset and sound bar. The sound bar can use a HDMI ARC? cable (which Im utilizing) or optical connection and.optical only for the headset. On my large downstairs TV, I bought an optical splitter (through Amazon) as both the headphones and sound bar used optical and the TV had only one optical port. Works just fine.
