“Since this is using Google OS & there is a model with Fire TV, can you flash and install a lite version OS or is it possible to delete pre installed apps? If that’s a no, can you sideload via http or usb (apk’s) instead of using Google for religious rsns”

The one I have is a Google platform, but they do have a firestick version.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Currently, we do not offer TVs with a Fire TV operating system. Apps can be added or deleted from the TV. Additionally, you can elect to not connect to the Internet during initial setup and utilize the TV as a traditional non-smart TV. The TV has the ability to load .apk files, but we do not recommend installing un-trusted apps. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
