“Hi again. Can you help explain the benefits of having eARC on this tv? I’m new to this recent tech. From the TCL website, and other responses to questions posted here, it doesn’t look like the tv supports Dolby Atmos. So, how does eARC benefit the user?”

• The benefit of EARC is it allowd DD+ therefore Dolby Atmos can piggyback on that signal. Atmos also works on a PCM encoded signal. I own the tv. This is a fact Dolby Atmos is supported.

• It is able to turn on the Home theater system and the tv at the same time
