“The sales person assured me this includes a voice activated remote. Now that I have it home and about to un box it, the remote dosen't look like its voice activated to me. Can you please clarify this? Thanks”

The TCL s535 series ships with a basic IR remote without voice search capability. You can use the Roku app on a smartphone, tablet, etc and gain that functionality or buy an enhanced RF remote from Roku for about $20. The remote should also be available on Amazon.

It is not voice activated, it is a very simple remote. My Xfinity remote IS voice activated though and it works on the TV.

This model features a standard IR remote. However, you can download the free Roku mobile app on your Smartphone or tablet to use as a remote. Through the Roku mobile app, you gain access to power toggle, volume toggle, private listening, voice search, and more. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
